About Midland Road Studios Trust
Every commercial booking at Midland Road Studios will contribute directly to charity via Midland Road Studios Trust.
Fund raising activities
All commercial activities undertaken within the area designated as Midland Road Studios include an element of ‘room hire’ or ‘studio hire’ which is expressed on an hourly or daily basis. Since the rates charged for ‘room hire’ or ‘studio hire’ are variable, the trustees have determined that a fixed fee should be paid per hour and per day for all commercial use.
Grants and donations
The money generated on an annual basis will be used to cover any accounting costs. All remaining funds with be granted to a shortlist of qualifying charitable causes, individuals and charities chosen by the trustees that satisfy the criteria set out by the ‘purpose’ of the charity.
Purpose
A grant giving charity established in the City of Worcester to advance education, learning, sustainability and environmental improvement within the geographical jurisdictional boundaries of Worcestershire County Council, and its surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
DMA Europa Ltd. the owner of Progress House is responsible for the cost and practical work required to maintain the space in a clean, habitable and useable state, thus making it available for commercial use. There are no additional operational costs passed on to the charity Midland Road Studios Trust.
DMA Europa Ltd. or fellow Marketing + Technologies Group company V-Ex are responsible for quoting, invoicing and collecting all funds generated by Midland Road Studios and donated to Midland Road Studios Trust. All commercial activity undertaken in Midland Road Studios will be carried out on behalf of fee paying customers by DMA Europa Ltd. and or V-Ex Virtual Exhibitions Ltd.
